River Road Rehabilitation

Projects Details

The River Road Rehabilitation project has been identified by Junee Shire Council for development and delivery due to the poor conditions of the existing road. The general context of the project includes pavement rehabilitation, formation widening, and drainage works. Funding has been secured to rehabilitate 5.4km of River Road, split into two stages:

• Stage 1 – commencing from the Oura Road intersection and continuing south for 3.85km

• Stage 2 – adjoining Stage 1 and continuing south for the remainder of the 5.4km.

The existing road within the Stage 1 limits is narrow having only a ~4.5m wide sealed pavement with significant failures throughout the limit of works.

Our Role

Rigore Engineering Services (Rigore) has been engaged by Junee Shire Council to provide road designs and technical support for River Road Rehabilitation in the locality of Wantabadgery.
