Projects Details

The Trentham Cliffs Intersection Upgrade focuses on 3 intersections along the Sturt highway 15 minutes from Mildura, NSW. These intersections provide access to the Trentham Waters Resort and The Cliffs Roadhouse truck stop.

The goal of the project was to provide appropriate intersection treatments to accommodate the new developments, and to create a safe road environment that accommodates the increase in heavy and light vehicle capacity that aligns with Safe System Principles.

These goals were achieved by designing an ingress and egress only access points to the Truck Stop catering for B-Triples, and a bi-directional access to the resort including an auxiliary left turn lane and channelised right turn lane from the Sturt Highway.

Rigore Engineering Services (Rigore) was engaged by Morgan O’Brien (Client Representative) | GSD Architects to design and develop suitable intersection treatment for the Trentham Waters and The Cliffs Roadhouse access’.
